I'm Baomont

Author of Eastwatch: Of Service and Silence and keeper of the Faeloria wiki — one world, many threads.

I care about atmosphere, consequence, and the small moments that tilt history. This site is home to the serial, the lore archive, and a little about the person behind both.

Path here

From England to the United States, with notebooks, servers, and too many tabs open on the wiki.

I grew up in England and later made a life in the United States. Along the way I picked up the habit of building things — first as someone who organized and shipped complex work, then as someone who writes the glue code and pages that hold a world together online.

Faeloria began as a private playground of maps, factions, and “what if” — then became a public wiki so readers (and future me) could trust the setting. Consistency matters when magic, politics, and geography all have to agree.

Eastwatch is where one strand of that world comes into focus: a border keep, a household run like a diplomatic instrument, and a young butler learning that competence is only the beginning. I publish it as a serial so the story and the wiki can grow side by side.

Outside the manuscript I still enjoy games, streams, and side experiments — but this site is intentionally centered on the creative works I want to invite people into first: the novel and the world it inhabits.

How the work gets made

Fiction first — supported by structure, tooling, and the occasional stubborn spreadsheet.

Fiction & voice

Long-form serialization, scene craft, and pacing for readers who like politics, process, and character under pressure — with room for warmth and restraint.

Fantasy Gaslamp Serial

Worldbuilding

Lore that can be cited: timelines, places, factions, and magic systems documented so stories and articles stay aligned as Faeloria expands.

Wiki Canon Lore

Digital home

This site, integrations, and the practical side of getting chapters and links in front of readers — so the creative work is easy to find and share.

Main works

Start with the story, the wiki, or both — they are built to reward whichever door you open first.

Away from the desk

Streaming & community

I still stream sometimes and hang out where readers and players gather — good company when you spend a lot of time in invented countries.

Games

League and other worlds when the brain needs a different map — still storytelling, just with cooldowns.

Reading & rest

Filling the well: history, craft books, and fiction that makes me jealous in the best way.
